History:
American Energy Services was Incorporated as a Michigan Company in February, 1984. There are two equal stockholders;
Joseph G. Powers - President
Larry A. Shue - Vice President of Operations.
Both stockholders had many years of experience in the Pole Inspection and Utility Services fields before forming American Energy Services. This experience helped make American Energy Services successful the first year and enabled us to grow every year thereafter.
Personnel:
The owners and management of American Energy Services had decades of experience in the Utility Services business. While this enabled us to establish American Energy Services and start with a certain degree of confidence, that fact alone did not provide us with enough qualified personnel to fulfill our contracts. Fortunately, most of the field inspectors who had worked for us under our former employer came to American Energy Services. This enabled us to commence business not only with experienced management, but a work force trained in the various services that we provide.
Today, American Energy Services has Supervisors and Field Technicians living and working in Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Florida. We also have crews that travel to areas where we have no resident employees. While we have the normal turnover with crew members, we have been able to start with and maintain a nucleus of Supervisors and Crew Leaders who have helped establish and maintain American Energy Services excellent reputation of service to the Utility Industry.
